The 2025 YPL Unlocking Funding Workshop: A Comprehensive Grants Workshop for Success will bring together emerging leaders from throughout the Pacific Islands, Australia, and New Zealand to enhance their grants management skills, identify and pursue grant opportunities, and collaborate in a regional network that grows opportunities to address complex challenges. The program will consist of pre-workshop virtual asynchronous activities for preparation, the in-person Workshop to be held in Brisbane, Australia, over the dates of 7-9 October 2025, and a virtual debriefing discussion held on 6 February 2026 (New Zealand Time).
All interested and eligible emerging leaders, ages 25-40, from Australia, the Cook Islands, Fiji, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Islands of French Polynesia, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Norfolk Island, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Rapa Nui, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Taiwan, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna, and U.S. partners from the American-affiliated Pacific including American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and Hawai’i, are invited to apply.
